The City and the Rose
My favorite part in planning the Abandon Collection is selecting the city and rose for the next novel. For Sinful Abandon, I knew I wanted SEXY!
The first city that came to mind was Chicago.
My husband and I travelled to the Windy City in 2010. We took a boat tour of the Chicago River, ate Giordano’s Pizza, walked Navy Pier, played at the beach of Lake Michigan, shopped The Magnificent Mile and watched 4th of July fireworks in a Chicago suburb with the family of a close friend.
Chicago is welcoming and entertaining; visually stunning and fascinating with it’s waterways woven through, making it the perfect location for a story this story.
I always knew Heather’s rose would be lavender. I mean, her name is a shade of purple! In Pure Abandon, she was accented in purple and aqua so it should come as no surprise that the hero in this novella, Ryan Pierson, has cobalt blue eyes. Purple and blue make a stunning combination, don’t cha think?
And that special meaning behind the lavender rose . . . love at first sight. (sigh!)
Stay tuned for pre-order links and sneaks peaks into this exciting novella.
I hope you enjoy Sinful Abandon! |
